MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE
The Research Institute of Medicine at European University was founded in 2020 on the basis of the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases headed by Professor Zaza Avaliani.
The purpose of the Institute:
The purpose of the Research Institute of Medicine is to carry out research activities for promoting the development of educational programs at the faculty level.
The main functions of the Research Institute of Medicine are:
- to organize modern knowledge and quality-oriented activities for the purpose of researching the problems of medicine;
- to find research grants in the relevant direction;
- to cooperate with local, international organizations, as well as research institutes and universities in the research sphere;
- to promote research results;
- to support organization of international and local conferences, seminars, and symposiums;
- to publish of a scientific journal;
- to periodically assess scientific research potential within the institute, identify various research directions which are in demand and determine research priorities, based on the mission and strategy of the university;
- to periodically submit reports on research activity carried out within the framework of the institute to the center for the promotion of research activities and other relevant structural units;
- to implement other powers in accordance with the goals and objectives of the institution.
