Bachelor's Degree Program in International Relations
Why International Relations Program at European University?
The International Relations programme at European University is based on best international academic practices while taking into account the specific political, economic, and security context of Georgia and the wider region. The programme responds to contemporary developments in international relations and offers students relevant and innovative courses.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, students acquire solid knowledge in the fields of international economics and law, international security, political philosophy, and foreign policy. At the same time, the programme purposefully develops analytical, practical, and communication skills that are essential for successful professional careers in decision-making, executive, analytical, and representative positions.
One of the programme’s key strengths is its structure based on thematic blocks, which ensures logical coherence of the learning process and systematic development of knowledge. The selection, number, and prioritization of courses within these blocks are determined by their alignment with the programme’s learning outcomes, significantly reducing the risk of fragmented and superficial knowledge acquisition.
Students are also offered the opportunity to study, in addition to English, a second foreign language of their choice from among the six official working languages of the United Nations, which substantially enhances their competitiveness in international and regional labour markets.
