European University is starting a series of public lectures about the most fascinating and actual parts of psychology and invites participants who are interested in a specified field of medicine.
On March 12, 15, 18, and 25, students in 12th grade are invited to meet professional and practicing lecturers in the medical building of the university (adr. Sarajishvili St. 17#) who will talk about interesting topics such as:
- Role of psychology and psychologists in the military – students will learn about the challenges faced by military personnel in terms of mental health and in which direction psychologists work in the defense system based on Georgia’s experience. They will also learn about the challenges and solutions that exist in the Georgian defense system.
- Role of psychologists and investigative interviewing – what is the essence of investigative interviewing,what kind of methodologies exist,on which stage of an investigative interview do psychologists participate, and how do they influence it?
- The role of emotional intelligence and trauma as personal improvement phenomena
- Manipulation in media
- The role of attachment in social relations
- Analysis and development of cognitive skills in our reality – by using informal methods of evaluation, you will have the opportunity to assess their attention,memory, perception, and thinking skills.
