European University’s students have been invited to a symposium for young scientists in Berlin, alongside with their mentor

Students of the “European University” together with their mentor were invited to the Young Researcher’s Symposium in Berlin.

Akkon University of Applied Human Sciences (Germany) invited Eka Kokhreidze, a researcher and lecturer at the European University, along with two successful students to the Young Researcher’s Symposium, which will be held in Berlin on October 13-18.

Representatives of European University will have the opportunity to present their research projects at the symposium.

As part of this visit,  Sopiko Gobejishvili, a student of the Georgian-language Medical Doctor program of the European University, and Mariam Mirvelashvili, a student of the Georgian-language Dentistry program of the European University, are traveling to Germany with Eka Kokhreidze.

This year, Eka Kokhreidze, a researcher at the Medical Research Institute of the European University, was on a three-month working visit to the Akkon University of Applied Human Sciences in Berlin, during the visit a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the parties.

As part of the partnership, the participation of all three representatives of the “European University” in the scientific symposium will be fully funded by the German side.

Representatives of the “European University” will also have the opportunity to take part in the 15th World Health Summit. The World Health Summit is an unique international strategic forum for global health. It brings together stakeholders from politics, science, the private sector, and civil society from around the world.

The summit is annually attended by such important people as the President of the World Health Organization, health ministers, and other decision-makers.

Akkon University of Applied Human Sciences actively participates in national and international conferences, congresses, and summits of various types. Akkon University of Applied Human Sciences periodically holds a young researcher’s symposium, a scientific conference dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day, and other scientific events.
