The European University has been ranked among the world’s best universities from 125 countries/regions in the 2024 edition of the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings.
Times Higher Education presents the University Impact Rankings for 2024, identifying and celebrating universities that excel across multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In edition of THE 2024 European University is ranked in the first place across Georgia for SDG4: Quality Education. In overall European University is ranked 1501+ and covers four Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 4: Quality Education (1001 – 1500)
With the score of 25.7 – 44.1 European University is ranked in the band of 1001 – 1500 for SDG 4 and for Quality Education it is the first university across Georgia. The aim of SDG4 is to advance the right to education and ensure access to education at all levels, from childhood development through secondary education and beyond.
SDG 5: Gender Equality (601 – 800)
With the score of 42.1 – 48.1 European University is ranked in the band of 601-800 for Gender Equality. The aim of SDG5 is eliminating forms of discrimination and violence against women, enhancing women’s access to reproductive rights and ensuring their effective participation in leadership and public life.
SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (601 – 800)
With the score of 39.6 – 51.2 European University is ranked in the band of 601-800 for Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. The aim of SDG 16 is promoting inclusive societies, enhancing access to justice and fostering transparent institutions.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals (1501+)
With the score of 1.7 – 36.8 European University is ranked in the band of 1501+ for Partnerships for the Goals. The aim of SDG 17 is forging strong international partnerships that support sustainable development across various sectors.
