On October 4-5, within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program, Vasil Levski National Military University (Bulgaria) professors, Tsena Kanarieva and Ilian Lilov, delivered insightful lectures to the students of European University Georgian-taught educational programs.
The lecture on the topic of natural health and slow travel tourism was led by Tsena Kanarieva and it delved into the main trends and perspectives of slow tourism. The economic impact of the slow tourism industry was of particular interest to the students. Professor Kanarieva discussed this latter topic based on the examples of Bulgaria and Georgia.
A lecture on operation research was given by Prof. Ilian Lilov to European University students. The audience was introduced to the simplest application of mathematical methods to improve decision-making, which sparked great interest among the attendees.
It is noteworthy that during the visit, Bulgarian professors held a meeting with the key representatives of European University. Following productive dialogue with the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Tatia Dolidze, the Vice-Rector for Quality Assurance, Sophio Khundadze and the Head of the Research Support Center, Gvantsa Jichosvili, the parties expressed their willingness to further deepen the academic and institutional cooperation between the universities.
