On November 28, a series of training for invited and academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine was launched at the “European University” to familiarize them with new teaching and assessment methodologies.
The training will be led by an invited professor from Spain, Víctor Manuel Arce Vázquez, Full Professor of the Medical Physiology School of Medicine University of Santiago de Compostela Department of Physiology.
The topic of the first training: Novel methodologies for teaching and assessment of undergraduate medical students.
During the training, the speaker will talk about the following topics: New challenges in undergraduate medical education Flipped learning; Problem-based learning and Inquiry-based learning; Learning in the clinical environment; Methods for objective assessment of medical students and Post-hoc analysis of assessment results.
The training on the novel methodologies for teaching and assessment will be held in two parts on November 28 and 29.
On November 30 and December 1, Professor Victor Manuel Arce Vázquez will conduct a training for invited academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine on the topic: „Applications of portfolios for teaching and assessment of undergraduate medical students“.
The duration of the training: 4-5 hours.
Training participants will be given certificates.
