On 14th of November, was held a meeting of the Center for International Education for Students (CIE) at the European University.
The meeting was organized by Tatia Dolidze, Head of the International Relations Program at the European University.
The main topic of the meeting was to introduce students to international education opportunities, conditions of study abroad and future development.
As part of the meeting, the Foundation introduced its Resource Center to the students. Every student enrolled in the CIE will be able to use this.
The Center for International Education was established as an independent foundation on the basis of the International Student Advising Center of the “Open Society – Georgia Foundation”.
The main mission of the center is to serve as a reference point for getting open and free access to current, accurate, comprehensive and unbiased information and consultancy services on educational opportunities abroad. And, also to support Georgians to be competitive in international educational opportunities.
CIE is designated as the official representative of Central European University (CEU), Hungary and American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) and it has provided education to about 3,000 Georgian students internationally.
The Center for International Education and the European University agree on future development and cooperation.
