Encourage students to engage in extracurricular activities such as: The purpose of the competition: Scientific- research activities Participation into local and international conferences Participation into training courses, public lectures and workshops Participation into sport and cultural activities Participation into meetings organized by the University Administration.
Each activity is given an appropriate score,activities completed by each student prior to the end of the fall semester of the 2019-20 academic year (till December 31) will be summed up in accordance with the scores.
STUDENT ACTIVITY and APPROPRIATED SCORE:
1. Attending at a local conference – 5 point
2. Making a poster report at a local conference – 10 points
3. Making an oral report at a local conference 1 – 15 points
4. Attending at an international conference – 10 points
5. Making a poster report at an international conference – 15 points
6. Making an oral report at an international conference – 20 points
7. Participation into training courses and seminars (duration of 1 day) – 5 points
8. Participation into training courses and seminars (Duration of 1-3 days) – 7 points
9. Participation into training courses and seminars (D u rat ion of more than 3 days) – 10 points
10. Attending at public lectures – 5 points
11. Participation into activities organized by the Administration of the University – 4 points
12. Participation into sport and cultural activities under the name of the University – 7 points
13. Supporting student activities – 4 points
14. Assistance of the lecturer and tutoring – 15 points
15. Participation into Scientific Research – 20 points
The top 3 s students with the highest scores, identified by the Student Activity Competition will receive a scholarship of 100 GEL each month from January to June 2020.
